MedNext Ltd is a UK healthcare technology company founded by GMC-registered NHS doctors. We build platforms that empower medical professionals — from medical school through to specialist registration.

Our Story

MedNext was founded by NHS doctors who saw the same problems across every stage of a medical career: scattered tools, expensive resources, and workflows that weren't designed for how doctors actually work. We set out to build technology that covers the full span of a medical career — from learning to practising.

Today MedNext operates three businesses. MedNext Academy provides structured medical education with 1,853 curriculum topics, AI coaching, and exam preparation for 30+ medical examinations worldwide. MedNext Portfolio helps doctors prepare UK specialty training applications across all 82 specialties with evidence workflows and Oriel-ready export. MedNext CESR supports doctors pursuing GMC specialist registration through the portfolio pathway across 67 specialties.

Our team brings together experience across clinical medicine, medical education, and healthcare systems — spanning surgery, radiology, and primary care. That breadth informs every decision we make, from specialty configuration design to dataset curation.
